August
Wednesdays : Bistro Night. This has proved to be very popular and a chance to have good value food in the middle of the week. So give us a call and let us serve you from our Mediterranean menu. On a Sunny Summers eve with a chilled glass of wine it's just like being on holiday....(in a country pub in Balscote)
Friday Curry Club : Had a bad week and weather getting you down? Well spice up the start of the weekend with one of our special curries. This week we will be carrying both a Chicken and Beef Curry with a vegetable curry, rice, naan, pop and Indian sides. Goes well with Hooky's beer of the month Summer Haze only available during August.
Saturday Steak Night (Not 21st Though) Our steaks are going down really well and good value. We have increased our menu with both Tuna and Sea Bass, if you don't want a steak. We've introduced 16oz "T"Bones which is not seen on many menu's. We do not cook from frozen and buy our steaks on a Saturday so if you would like a "T" Bone please call to reserve one the day before.

4th : Saturday Charity Race Night. Come and join in the fun of placing bets and sponsoring a horse. All for charity but the winning lady and gentleman with the most money at the end of the evening wins a bottle of Champers.
October
Oktober Beer Fest 1-3rd with live Music Saturday Eve. A bit soon to right off the summer but we are organising our German Festival with beer, food and live music. Not to be missed.
So lots to get you out of the house and either have a quiet evening over a meal with good company or pop in for some music and a sing song, either way, we hope to be able to welcome you very soon.
Other Events
Regular folk nights on the first and third Monday of the month, starting at 9.00pm.
A fun quiz every Sunday evening. 8.30 start.
Steak Night Special every Saturday evening from 7.00 until 9.00. Booking advisable.
Sunday Lunch from 12 until 2.00. Booking advisable.
Open-the-Box draw takes place every Saturday night at 10.30 with prize money of up to £400.00. 10% of prize money is donated to our House Charity (Katharine House Hospice).
Seniors Special Lunches (smaller portions for smaller appetites) Monday to Saturday lunchtime, 12 until 2.00. Regular barbecues throughout the summer.
