Bell Inn licensee John Bellinger in line for industry award.

A Hook Norton licensee has been announced as one of the best licensees in the country and he is now set to compete for one of the industry’s top accolades.

The British Institute of Innkeeping has unveiled John Bellinger of the Bell Inn, Adderbury, Nr Banbury as one of the 11 semi-finalists who will compete for the trade body’s Licensee of the Year award this year.

The winner will be announced at the BII’s annual lunch at London’s Grosvenor House on May 11. It has been quite a year for John as he is also in the line for two other industry awards. John and his wife Trisha have been nominated by trade magazine The Publican as finalists for the Tenanted Pub of the Year and John is a finalist in the Publican of the Year category in the Publican Awards 2010.
