Didn’t We Do Well
The Hook Norton Brewery is in the running for two prestigious industry awards and one of our tenants could be named Newcomer of the Year.
The Brewery is a shortlisted finalist in two categories of the Publican Awards: Pub Company of the Year - Tenanted/Leased (20 -199 outlets) and Regional Brewer of the Year.
Hook Norton Brewery tenant, Mark Higgs of the Carpenters Arms, Lower Boddington, Northamptonshire is a finalist in the Newcomer of the Year category. In recent months Mark has transformed the Carpenters Arms into a proper local pub, where the food is fresh, the company is fun and the service is friendly.
"I am absolutely delighted to be able to unveil the finalists for this year's Publican Awards. It really is a fantastic achievement and something to be very proud of,” said Publican Editor Caroline Nodder.
The results will be announced at The Publican Awards 2009 which takes place at the Grosvenor House, London on Tuesday 24 March. www.thepublicanawards.com
