Hare & Hounds customers have generous hearts
The Hare & Hounds may be a small community pub in the village of Wardington, just outside Banbury - but its customers have big hearts.
Recently, the pub held a charity day - the Ronnie Goswell charity Day - raising £2,215.00 for the Katharine House Hospice.
A golf day was organised by Ronnie’s sons Nigel and Robert, customers and local businesses contributed prizes for a raffle, lucky dip and an auction.
Hare & Hounds licensee Carol Wixey, pictured with the prize for the winning golfer, said, the day was hard work, but worth it.”
Carol said: “My customers are wonderful people and days like this bring the village together.
It was my customers hard work that made the day go so well. Everyone pulled together, the day was just fantastic. ”
