Eat Well and healthily at the Coach & Horses
The Coach & Horses in Banbury has been awarded a coveted Silver in the Eat Well in Cherwell Awards organised by Cherwell District Council.
To be considered for an Eat Well Award the Coach & Horses staff had to show they maintain consistently high standards of food hygiene, and offer healthy alternatives on their menus.
Chef Paul Organ says “We are committed to offering healthy food choices.
“As a Hooky Pub we are used to selling quality ales made from the finest ingredients, in a traditional manner.
“Now we are doing the same with our food. We offer the kind of food you expect to find in a pub, but served in a modern way, using produce sourced from as close to Banbury as possible.”
According to Cherwell District Council the award gives diners confidence that when they choose somewhere to eat that displays the Eat Well in Cherwell award, they know they can buy a healthy meal.
The Coach & Horses offers a modern take on a traditional pub.
In the heart of Banbury – Hook Norton has transformed the Coach from a popular local drinking spot to a cask ale and dining pub to rival anything in the area.
